I haven't updated in forever. I blame this on tumblr. I joined tumblr and started following some fellow Downton Abbey fans (so many wonderful people) and the lot of them have gotten into following tons of other good actually entertaining things on television. I have had to make myself not keep up with everything on my tumblr dash though because it has just become too much which sometimes makes me regret that I miss art and fan fic posts. But really it's a great fun place and I've been posting lots of fandom things there along with the occasional personal life thing as well cause well I was already on there so why change sites just to update another blog?
I've been working on the night shift at work the last couple of weeks training the new team lead for that shift and it's been a good fun experience. I didn't hate the hours as much as I thought I would, but ultimately I'm not regretting that I turned that particular position down. The night shift is really boring compared to the usual hustle and bustle of random projects I do on the day shift. Monday I go back to 8am-4:30pm in which I will be there during the first hour of the night shift to help set up and pass long plans and info and such... so now I'm like the transition team lead. Still a helper and no team to call all my own, but I feel like I know a lot more of what's going on now after having to learn and then cover for the morning shift team lead's vacation then turning around and teaching what was necessary from that to the night lead (since day shift had been taking care of the back end of night shift).
Still wrapping up DMG manga projects. Uploading some edits for 1 project, just turned in another project a week or so ago. Need to try to contact my other team again and if I still get no response contact my DMG contact to let them know I still want to work the project but that my team is unresponsive. I let one project fall through the cracks like that before and I'm determined not to let that happen again cause then I'll have wasted all that time doing the clean work and that's just frustrating cause that's hours of work.
Earlier this week I finally got a new pair of sneakers, specifically running shoes, specifically Nike Flex 2013 Runs. They are so comfortable and very light and springy. I got up early Tuesday and took a short run. I say short because it was short in both distance and time because I've been very inactive for well over a year and am terribly out of shape because of it, but it felt really really good. Sadly that night I overdid something to a muscle at work later that night and it persisted to hurt until yesterday so I played it safe and didn't go out again because I didn't want to screw the muscle up anymore until I was sure it was healed. Now it's that time of the month and the last thing I want to do is put on work out clothes and go running so maybe lets give this another go in a week or so. In the end I was proud of myself for just getting up and doing it because for the last half year before we moved out of my mother's house I kept trying to talk myself into going out and running around the neighborhood but just could never get up the courage cause it meant telling my mom what I was doing and I didn't want to put up with anything from her (like how my running shorts are too short or how she wouldn't go out in the neighbor hood to walk anymore because she was threatened by a stray dog once... I was getting pretty emotionally strained living with my mother at that point that I just didn't want to set myself up).
I'm trying to sell some doll and old Lolita stuff at the moment in attempts for some funds to pay off a new doll. Soom Fenny, the cute little Fox boy they released back in June. He was just sooooo adorable I couldn't resist for a second, but I haven't been very good with my personal budget lately so I half paid for him on credit card and a little bit from sales stuff. Originally most of him was to be paid for by my profit shares check from DMG, but they made it out incorrectly and I was unable to cash it and since I returned it after they started calculating for the next terms sharing I have to wait for that and they'll be sending me a combined check for the 2 terms. I'm just a little ugh, but oh well.
Today it's already after 1pm and I'm eating leftover tonkatsu we cooked earlier this week for lunch then figuring out what to do for the rest of my day. A friend invited me over for food and games and I said as long as I was feeling up to it I'd come and got told any time as for time so I'm trying to figure out what all I need to get done around the apt today before I leave for an undetermined period of time. I haven't been out too much as of recent. I keep wanting to go placed which make me want to spend money. Or I invite people over then things fall through. I keep getting invited out but I've got stuff to do or have done all the things I needed to get done then am so pooped I just can't do it.
That's all for now... Just wanted to get some things out.... keep a little update since that was the reason I started this blasted blog.

All of Today
Haven't updated in forever, but not going to bring everything up to date, just going to go on about today and ten try to remember other days that I should really be updating about my day.
I feel today has both been rather busy then lazy and overall productive at least.
Woke up then went to the post office to get some money orders. Went to the new apartment complex we hope to be moving into to find they weren't open yet (they were open at this time last weekend). From there we went to pick up our nephew to take him out for his belated birthday outting (birthday was in March, but life has been crazy for all). Went to Barnes & Noble where because there was a Bogo1/2off sale we bought two of the B&N classics books, those pretty hard back, gold/sivler leaf paper, with fun covers and just that massive swanky classy look to them. Finally have properly gotten terribly into BBC's Sherlock recently and for me I've always enjoyed anything Sherlock Holmes, but have never had the opportunity to actually ever read any of it so one of the books is the complete collection of Sherlock Holmes and then by the husband's choice a collection of Jules Verne.
We moved on down to Hot Topic because I had a coupon for 15% off and there was another Bogo1/2off sale so ended up coming out of there with Doctor Who merch for me (2 tanks and a belt, even though I'd gone looking for socks), a little blind box figure for the nephew, and a Superman bowtie for the husband.
In the end ended up at Movie Trading Co. because the nephew found nothing that he wanted more than the Skylanders game set becuase that was sort of what we knew he wanted but we figured we'd give him the usual shopping trip (oh we also stopped by Keith's Comics, but there was not much there that caught his fancy either, but we did get to see some cool stuff that is stuff Madness Games & Comics doesn't carry (the husband's employer)).
Dropped back by the apartment complex and got our application put in and things taken care of and we will know Tuesday for 100% sure that the application went through well and that we have the place for sure and all of that jazz. Not that there's anything that should stop it but with everything going on crazy like it is I'm just a big bag of nerves. We're moving and have had only a few weeks notice now that we have to be out by the middle of June. We've stayed with Mum about a year now and were trying to start looking for a house, but my brother is loosing his job overseas and coming here and mum logic dictates (and I do not argue it AT ALL!) the child with a wife and child and no job sort of needs her free space more than the children that now both have jobs. I'm 100% thrilled to have my niece in the country and hopefully by this time next year both my neices.
Speaking of nieces and nephews we took the nephew back home then had to go see the other brother in law to take some stuff to him as well today so by the time we were heading home we were able to see all of our nieces and nephews (minus the married in ones) in the states in one day and this is only my 3rd time seeing the youngest (only 4 mo old).
So got home, took a bit of a rest. The husband headed to work and since then I have done some manga lettering work, which by the way is just hard. No it's not hard to actually do, I've done a lot of this now this being on second year working with this company doing it, but just the subject content of what I'm working with and the artwork itself as well. It's just urgh. The particular book I'm working on is due in July but I want to get it done becuase there was a title that was supposed to be due in June but the translator had real life things happen and needs to get an extension. The group I'm doing the book that's frustrating me right now with, we have another book that is due in Aug that I'm looking way more forward to becuase at least it has super lovely art and looks like it has a sweet story and is not just short stories of ugly ruanchy sex (which is the two other books I'm working on at current... that's what most of the urgh is about... I hate books like this).
So I worked on a bit of that until dinner time. Picked up cheap chinese with Mum. Regretting that I decided to try something different becuase it wasn't as good as what I usually get and cost a dollar more. Came home and while eatting finished the episode of Merlin I started watching over lunch last weekend and then another episode while I was waiting on Orphan Black to start. Orphan Black once again good and we've got one more episode next week. It's a really great show! And during commercials I was making .gifs of my fave character from previous eps of the show that I at some point will spam my tumblr account with. Yup this is what has become of my multimedia degree... I make gif files like old school days yo!
During some point of this time I've read some of the intorduction to my SH collection. Now I still have the rest of my evening and pretty much have no real plans for it. I think I should do some more manga work so more gets done faster becuase the more I do, the faster I get it done, and then I don't have to look at it. I think I will definitley take a slightly extended break from manga work after I finish these three books I'm committed to at current.

Want to stop getting sick
This past Saturday I went to my grandmother's 97th birthday party. She was doing better than my mother last described her and of course better than the last time I saw her which was at my father's memorial service. I bought her a scarf which just happened to go with what she was wearing so it went straight on. Somehow I can't seem to do wrong with a scarf as I never have no clue what to get her.
Saturday night we finally finished Downton Abbey and gyyaaaaaa all the rage screams!!!!! Still avidly looking forward to season 4.
Sunday the husband had to go to work (which he was originally supposed to be off) so I spent the day home alone. I felt something coming on and had a runny nose all day and by evening was full blown sinus crud of doom sick. Spent most of my afternoon fixating on U-KISS because this weekend was their comeback week. I do quite like their new album collage but after watching the MV and 4 live performances there are so many feelings that I'm not even sure how cohesive and coherent putting them into words would be.... The result: promoting a duet?!, tired, too tight of pants, man whore host look, wtf caresses, and oh gawd Kevin's cute as always.....yah I think there's no real explanation without having examples of what brought thoughts to mind and then sharing it with someone who's actually into Kpop. I did spend a good 3 or so hours dedicated to looking at and watching U-KISS things, and now also actually do follow them all on twitter like a good faithful little kissme.
Got caught up and watched new ep of walking dead. I found both eps had trouble keeping my attention and I missed a good chunk of talking dead cause we watch AMC through fios on the Xbox and the fios app/connection kept screwing up.
Last night barely slept only a few hours cause I woke myself up, and the husband, being sinus congested as all get out. Woke up when my alarm went off and said hell to this shit and called into work sick. Have felt half miserable all day. Went out at one point and got myself some NyQuil and DayQuil which have been helpful. I did a wee bit of cleaning work on one of my manga projects then abandoned it for Downton Abbey fandom time on tumblr in which I found quite a lovely fanfic which consumed quite a bit of time. Tumblr is both wonderful and bad but I definitely found a quote I loved today that I feel explained the site quite eloquently; "It's chaos. It's like a happy chaos."

Gotta Kick This
Yesterday I rolled into work feeling rather worn down and by the end of the work day embarked for home running a fever. Came home to dinner waiting for me and our friend Kathy was also here needing some assistance for a school assignment. We helped, hung out for a bit then it was time to hunker down for bed. We watched 2 episodes of Downton Abbey then went to sleep.
Woke up this morning still feeling pretty weakfish and my sore throat from the previous day more sore, so I called in for the day hoping to get some rest and get whatever this is beat by tomorrow. Fever has returned already. Husband fed me leftovers for breakfast and we have proceeded to watch more Downton Abbey. Some very heart breaking episodes, leaving both of us in tears. Now he is getting ready for his interview at his favorite local game and comic shop. Having high hopes because he needs something even if it does not end up the permanent thing, but hopes seem quite promising.
Not sure quite what the rest of my day will entail, but I'm about to get up and find myself some lunch then probably entertain myself with Kpop maybe?

All The Food....
So got up yesterday morning and completed all of my errands except for one that I had forgotten about until later. Shipped a doll back to its owner, dropped one car off at the shop, then took the other in for an oil change.
After all of that I went to work and made a 6 hour day on my Saturday afternoon. I had tweeted about going to work before leaving and when I got to work had a text on my phone from my friend Jasmine asking if I'd like to come have dinner since at work I'm half way to her place from home. Logan was going up to the comic shop for board game night with Richard so I said sure. Got there and helped a bit with preparation. We had a spicy Thai soup, cheese stuffed mushrooms, cheese stuffed croissants, crab rangoons, tiramisu....dear lord I left so stuffed. I wish I had had my iPad with me to take pictures. I did take a few on my phone that I tweeted.
Came home and read manga before I went to sleep. Read Bad Teacher's Equation volume 1 by Kazuma Kodaka. Love it! It is really super adorable. I think I definitely expected it to be spicier with it's 18+ rating because really I think it would have been fine with a16+. It's mild enough for my 12yr old niece. Want all the rest of it as soon as I'm able to buy it.
Woke up this morning and got ready to go out. Logan and I went with Richard to see the movie warm bodies. It was very silly. Cute romantic comedy with zombies pretty much sums it up. Was happy the passes were free. I think I would have only felt it was worth the money if I'd been desperate to see a movie if I would have had to pay for it. However I really do think I would like to add it to my DVD collection after it comes out and gets down to $10ish.
Came home from the movie and we made a much needed run to the storage unit. We had packed some boxes of stuff up a few weeks ago because since we've been with mum and inheriting things from two passed relatives in Logan's family we are getting a bit cramped in the bedroom. While we were there we grabbed and brought home the box that has Logan's perler bead stuff in it so he can do something crafty with his current home time.
We did some grocery shopping on the way home then got home and watched the first ep of season 2 of Downton Abbey. Cannot get enough of it! Don't know what I'm going to do when we finish season 3. After that Logan made dinner. Hamburgers with mushrooms and sweet potato fries. It was so good.
Now we're watching The Walking Dead. Watching last weeks ep then this weeks after it. Hope to still get to watch The Talking Dead as well but I'm not sure how long we will get to keep the use of Mom's TV. We had been watching it through the Xbox tips but for some reason now we're not able. Glad mom has nothing to watch, but I know she won't watch this. Anyways that's life up until now. Got work again tomorrow....

Friday That is Not Friday
I got up and went to work this morning and the day really flew by fast. I even worked an extra hour and a half today and it felt like nothing. However today is not really Friday as I'm actually going into work tomorrow. Not doing a whole day but going to head in after I run all my morning errands.
Per usual I read a volume of manga today. Today was Tegami Bachi volume 12. Things are really getting serious and the big bad monster is taking out people and the bees fight hard to take it down. We meet a really adorable new character this volume and sadly something unfavorable happens to her because something is wrong with the main character. As usual it leaves us at a cliff hanger having me eager to know what happens next. Enjoying the series as much as I do currently it really makes me want to cosplay one of the characters. She's one of the older characters, has blond hair similar length to mine, wears glasses, and does dawn a standard bee uniform a few volumes back and I love the uniform because I really want to make the bee design on the hat with Swarovski crystals.... The character's name is Aria and her weapon is a violin which just makes me like her even more.
Came home to a delicious tonkatsu dinner. After dinner went to visit my mother-in-law where we procured borrowing rights to all of the seasons of Downton Abbey. We watched the first season on Netflix and she has the rest on DVD and we are excited to watch.
Came back home and Richard came over for some gaming. We played a game of Zombicide and sort of won our map. I say sort of because it was Logan's last man standing that completed the objective. Both mine and Richard's characters had all perished. Now we re going o have one Tike To Ride game then I am going to bed.

Another Day...
Woke up this morning to a delicious breakfast. Toad in the hole with smoked cheddar cheese and some bacon on the side. It really made a good start to my day.
Went to work as per the usual. It was a bit boring today. I have to remember that straight up data entry work gets boring and old pretty quick. After a phone conference we ended up having to change the way we were keying stuff a little bit. Also after lunch they came through and we had full building drug testing for compliance on a contract. BUT for my current security cleanreance on the current post I still have to go on my own time to a local lab for drug testing.
After work headed out to see Jasmine & Jim. Jasmine and I went to Target and Walmart to hunt furbys for my sister in law and found that neither the walmart or Target next to her place have any at all (not even a space on the shelf). We are now back at her place watching Inkigayo episodes. Yay Kpop!
In reading today I read volume 11 of Tegami Bachi. It once again was full of a lot of good fuzzy feelings, action, even more plot twists, and sadness. I don't think I've mentioned it before but the main character really does cry a lot. He's a very emotional (I think 12 or 13 year old) boy. It was fun seeing and finding out even more about the character that you would have initially thought from the first volume would be the main character. The art is still spectacular as always.... Tomorrow I should be reading and completing volume 12 which will have me completely caught up and then I will whine and moan about how it's not coming out fast enough like how I complain about Blue Exorcist & Bakuman.
Well watched yet another up of Inkigayo which was the week before this most current one and it was actually quite uneventful. Looking forward to this weeks up becuase there are a lot of good looking comebacks.

Well watched yet another up of Inkigayo which was the week before this most current one and it was actually quite uneventful. Looking forward to this weeks up becuase there are a lot of good looking comebacks.
